    Because they make a great fortune from it obviously. I’d like to think they do it for Democracy and Human rights, but unfortunately arms manufacturer around the world do not explicitly put these values as their topmost priority.

      They do not have to open a repair shop/factory in Ukraine to make profits, but they want all in. It’s a bold move, but it will optimize logistics.

      Not specifically, but they too reap benefits from a stable EU and Ukraine, with both of them committing to a healthy defense spending. And if they can leave a good impression on Ukraine and its citizens and military the can expect defense contracts for an extended period of time, even after the conclusion of the war.
