I’m wondering how they will conclude the season with just one episode left. The Sumika / Kanoko drama has kind of been resolved - at least for now - so I don’t see a big cliffhanger for next episode. It might be a chill end to the season.
I have an advantage being a manga reader, but it’s still hard to tell, as the anime is already pretty much at the end of volume 4, but I agree the last chapter in that volume isn’t really high stakes and honestly probably can’t be stretched into a full episode. I’m envisioning it’ll do a lot of setup for how the relationships are changing and the threads that’ll be in place of we do get a season 2.
