Lots of “maybes” and “mights” to tougher rule coming. Looks like the much friendlier-to-corporation “voluntary rules” are more likely. The profits to acceptable deaths ratio will be the bottom line for car companies much as its always been.

The r/ShitLiberalsSay wiki has a good point about regulations; regulations seem to exist to centralize competition and serve the high classes (usually the rich), not the lower classes (usually the poor).
